“Scandal” Ending After Season 7
Fans of one of Shonda Rhimes’ hit shows are reeling after learning that it’s almost lights out for Olivia Pope. ABC’s “Scandal” will reportedly end after 7 seasons, this according to The Hollywood Reporter. According to the site, the announcement will be made at next week’s ABC upfront presentation.
So far ABC Studios and Shondaland have declined comment.
News of the show’s impending end comes after Shonda herself recently said she was uncertain about the show’s future.
“I used to know how it ended, and then Donald Trump was elected,” Rhimes told The Hollywood Reporter during an interview for its 100th episode. “We had a destination, and I don’t know if that’s our destination anymore.”
