Fatherhood is never easy (whether rich or poor), especially in America where thousands of kids grow up without fathers in their life. And to many, that’s the norm–men running from their fatherly duties–but far from reality based on the many proud fathers currently in their child’s life.

According to TMZ reports:
Robin Thicke is waving the white flag … telling people in his camp his marriage to Paula Patton has collapsed.
Thicke certainly gave a strong sign the union is over by listing his L.A. home Monday. Paula has not lived in the house since their separation in February, after that [groping] pic became public.
Sources connected with Robin tell TMZ … an attorney is already working on a financial settlement — separating assets.
Our sources say, however, neither side has hired a divorce lawyer.
Thicke is saying he will NOT be the one who files for divorce … she’ll have to do it. But he says he’s done begging and is moving on.
Looks like the long-haired bike-ridin’ Thicke may be returning…

It’s wedding season!
Persia White has found her vanilla Prince Charming and the two have been joined in swirly matrimony-dom.
According to People.com reports:
Actor Joseph Morgan, who currently heads up the CW’s The Originals, wed his Vampire Diaries costar Persia White in an intimate ceremony in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, on July 5.
“It had a very rustic feel to it,” White tells PEOPLE. “There was nothing about it that was overwhelming or very huge or fabulous in that way. We tried to keep everything really intimate and beautiful and sort of going along with nature.”
The bride wore a Vera Wang dress with a cathedral-length veil, while the groom sported an ivory-colored silk tux with black lapels by Miguel Wilson. “And then I had a bow tie,” adds Morgan. “In fact, the bow tie was the first bow tie I’ve ever tied myself, so I was quite proud of that.”
The couple, who met on the set of season 3 of The Vampire Diaries, exchanged vows in front of 26 guests at a private villa, within sight of where they got engaged.
“I think one of the reasons we picked it was because we love the ocean and we both grew up by the sea,” White says. “To be by the sea was wonderful. And the people of Jamaica are just wonderful.”
So, who made the exclusive guest list? “It was mostly family, a handful of close friends,” Morgan says. “My best man was my best friend of almost 20 years, Matt Ryan. He actually plays John Constantine on the new NBC show Constantine, but we’ve been friends since we were teenagers.”
The pair danced to Florence + the Machine’s “Never Let Me Go” for their first turn around the dance floor. But their favorite moment involved a band of Jamaican drummers.
“We had this great group called the Children of the Drums,” Morgan says. “It was six Jamaican drummers, and they got everybody up on the dance floor. At one point, all of our guests were on the dance floor, which is an achievement, I think.”
The food wasn’t too shabby, either, especially the cake, which was vegan – in keeping with the couple’s plant-based menu. “It was a triple-layer, chocolate on the inside and vanilla icing,” says White. “A beautiful, amazing cake.”
After helicoptering over to Negril for their honeymoon, the two relaxed by “partaking in the favorite local pastime – cliff jumping,” says Morgan. White adds: “That was what was more daunting than anything else. And we did it together, so we’re pretty proud of that.”
What’s next for the couple? Well, in addition to working on more film and TV projects together, they hope to start a family. Says White: “Little cute mini Josephs!”
Cliff jumping? Pretty adventurous for a honeymoon. We’d probably have to skip that to make sure we LIVE to see the first anniversary.

Nelsan Ellis will miss his character Lafayette when the hit drama “True Blood” wraps up this season – but he won’t miss one former fellow cast member.
The actor didn’t hold back in a Vulture interview when asked for his thoughts about former “True Blood” actor Luke Grimes. Prior to the show’s seventh and final season, Grimes quit the series, with Buzzfeed reporting that he didn’t feel comfortable with his character James having a romantic relationship with Lafayette.
“I just think that, you’re an actor, you’re an actor on a show that’s ‘True Blood,’ we’re all sitting there going, “You quit your job because … really?” Ellis said.
“I’m over him,” he added. “You quit your job because you don’t want to play a gay part? As if it’s … You know what? I’m going to stop talking.”
Sike.
But Ellis wasn’t done. He said that he couldn’t understand Grimes’ concerns portraying a same-sex romance, especially since the LGBT-friendly drama is famous for its risque sex scenes.
“First of all, this show, it’s ‘True Blood,’ and s–t, we get scared when we read scripts!” he said. “When scripts come, we’re like, ‘What are they going to have us do this week?’”
“I can’t approach a character with judgment,” he continued. “I certainly can’t tell my boss, ‘I can act what I want to act, but not what you tell me to act,’ especially on a show where you come in, knowing what it is.”
Maybe Luke is a “method actor” and didn’t wanna take the poop chute plunge.

Of course, the woman Keyshawn is set to marry is Jennifer Conrad — his longtime GF and the mother of 2 of his children.

Mariah opens up about her interracial marriage and family…

Interracial dating is still taboo in some circles but “Married to Medicine” star Mariah Huq hopes her relationship with her Bangladeshi husband will help change that.
“Having a multicultural family is important for me. You can have the best of both worlds. I’m proud of exposing people to our family and our lifestyle, how we’ve forged it together,” she said. “You can create your own culture, exposing people to other ways of life. That’s really big for me.”
Mariah encouraged single Black women to venture out and don’t limit themselves to only dating African-American men.
“Be open and opening minded. Think outside the box and love who loves you,” said Mariah, who told Sister 2 Sister that her husband was already knowledgeable about African-American culture before she met him.“He’s a Black man in a Bangladeshi body,” she said. “He’s been around different cultures all his life. He was very much exposed to it.”
Mariah hasn’t just been successful merging two cultures; she’s also merged two religions. Although her husband went to a Catholic schools, she said they practice Islam in their home.
“We pretty much run a Muslim household pretty much. We have converged both of our holidays…same thing with food. We cook curry chicken and mac and cheese. We go to church sometimes; we go to the Mosque sometimes,” she said.

George Teichner and Dana Cody’s engagement made for primetime fodder on The Real Housewives of New York City. But when it came time to say “I do,” the cameras weren’t rolling — and his reality star daughter Aviva Drescher wasn’t there! Now, Teichner is speaking out to Radar about the snub, and why the couple have decided to shun the limelight.
The newlyweds traded in what was sure to be public spectacle for a private affair when they got married Aug. 4. And the elopement was perfectly planned that way, Teichner told Radar exclusively.
“Our wedding was purely born from love! We do not live our lives for showbiz – rather for each other,” the Housewives star told Radar while on his honeymoon at Hawaii’s Turtle Bay Resort. “I proposed marriage to Cody and she accepted, becoming engaged on RHONY, to share this special time in my life with my daughter Aviva, and to let people know that true love really exists.
And despite the large age gap – he’s 76 and she’s 25! – their love is all that matters,” he says.
“Notwithstanding ageism, racism, and cultural chasm. Unlike the latest fad — marrying for showbiz and its accompanying notoriety, narcissism, fortune and fawners, Cody and I married for eternal love… which is priceless,” he insisted. “We quasi eloped to get married on the beach in Malibu, whilst standing in the Pacific Ocean. It was a beautiful, meaningful wedding — a special moment in time for Cody and me!”
But, diehard Bravo fans don’t have to fret. Even though his daughter Drescher didn’t make the guest list this time around, it doesn’t mean a TV wedding isn’t in the works.
“Our formal marriage ceremony and festivity with family and good friends in attendance — lavish de facto Jewish ceremony (Cody’s choice) — will be either in Manhattan or South Beach or both!” he said, adding in his signature eloquence: “Do know — We love God, God is love, live in love.”

Kim was seen leaving the Jimmy Kimmel show in Hollywood after an interview on the late night chat show.
