Kim Kardashian Talks About North Brushing Her Own Hair, She And Kanye Catch A Flight Out Of LAX With Nori
Kimmy Cakes and her famous family are launching a line of hair products and while promoting the new line she revealed her daughter Nori is already obsessed with brushing her own locks!
It’s a baby beauty routine! Kim Kardashian told Women’s Wear Daily on Friday, Aug. 29, that her daughter North West likes to primp herself, just like her mommy.
“North likes to brush her own hair,” Kardashian, 33, said of her 14-month-old girl. “You start with a brush and then you have to get a second brush [for her]. Right when you get it all perfect, she takes the brush and starts doing it herself.”The reality TV star went on to explain how her attempts to fix Nori’s tresses are oftentimes done in vain. “I just started using our oil because I needed to slick it [her hair] back and make it stay,” she said of her family’s new hair product line. “I just use a drop of it, but then she brushes it and likes to mess it all up.”
While Nori has been largely unenthusiastic about hair products, her famous mom keeps up her luscious brunette tresses with a strict schedule. “I start out the first day with a clean blowout,” Kardashian said. “The second day, I put in dry shampoo, which adds texture. Then, the third day, I sleek it and I straighten it, and then, the fourth day, I put our oil in it, and I make it a really sleek look. I might do a ponytail or a sleek bun. That’s my hair plan, and then I start over.”
Motherhood, though, has made Kardashian slightly more low-key when it comes to her stringent beauty schedule. “Ever since I had the baby, there was at least four months I went without makeup or hair products,” she told WWD. “I loved it. You can kiss your baby and you can snuggle. I am less on the makeup since I had a baby for sure because it makes it hard to kiss.”
Echoing Kim’s sentiments was her pregnant big sister Kourtney. “I have my five-minute makeup,” the mother of Mason and Penelope Disick, 35, said. “Khloe and I just finished filming our season [of Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons], so we have six weeks off and I’m so happy. I think I have two workdays during this six weeks. Today is one. To not have [to be] glam every day is so exciting to me. I swore I’m not going to wear heels until the end of my pregnancy. I’m just so excited to be chilling.”
The reality star mommy also hilariously detailed her most embarrassing hairstyle ever. “I had a Dorothy Hamill bowl,” Kourtney recalled. “I actually asked for it because a friend of mine had it and my mom took me to get it done. It was horrendous. I thought it was so cute on her. It was just not cute on me. I looked like a little ugly boy.”
As for younger sister Khloe? “I had a bob with bangs,” the 30-year-old shared. “I looked like Pat in that movie [It's Pat] where you don’t know if it is a boy or girl the whole time.
Guess North won’t be having the same issues as Blue Ivy growing up in the limelight.
