Rapper Iggy Azalea And LA Laker Boyfriend Nick Young Could Be Engaged Soon
According to US Weekly reports:
The chart-topping rapper and her NBA player boyfriend began dating in November 2013 and sources tell Us Weekly their relationship is heating up.
The “Fancy” performer celebrated her 24th birthday earlier this month with a trip to Mexico with her beau in tow. The celebratory vacation fell after Azalea achieved major success previously only seen by The Beatles, when she earned the No. 1 and No. 2 songs on Billboard’s Hot 100 simultaneously.
“She is blowing up right now and he’s her escape from all the craziness,” an insider close to the blonde beauty says of her relationship to Young, 29.
And escape they did, taking a boat cruise on June 5 while in Mexico. Two days later, the Los Angeles Lakers player presented his lady with a diamond script YOUNG AZALEA necklace for her birthday.
The attractive couple’s romance began on Twitter, when Young declared Azalea his “Woman Crush Wednesday.” They later began dating.
Azalea’s current relationship comes after a very public breakup with rapper A$AP Rocky. A friend tells Us that the way she is with Young is “the opposite” of her “dramatic relationship” with the A$AP Mob star, adding that the baller is “just a really fun-loving, sweet guy.”
“They only have a good time together,” the source continued. “It’s a really fun relationship, they are always laughing and having fun… it’s very light and drama-free with them. She has gotten really into basketball from him [and] he doesn’t even mind going shopping with her which is rare! As long as they are together.”
As to what’s ahead for the fun-loving pair, an insider said, “I can see them getting engaged someday!”
