Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will be husband and wife before the week is out! Kim Kardashian will be Mrs. Kanye West by the end of this week according to HollywoodLife.com reports. The site spoke with a Kardashian insider who revealed Monday that the pair would be getting their marriage license this week.

Kim and Kanye have to make their union official in LA before they head to Paris, says our insider. “They are headed out to Paris within a week, so they’ll get their license first.” The source also says that Kim and Kanye will not only get their license, they’ll actually legally marry before then traveling to Paris to hold a blow-out ceremony! We told you that as part of their Vogue cover deal, the couple agreed to give the magazine pics from their wedding: “you’ll be seeing their wedding pics in Vogue this summer.”

US Weekly also confirmed the reports of the couple applying for their marriage license, citing legal reasons that were revealed earlier this month:

“They need to do this before they leave for Paris,” a source tells Us. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality star, 33, and West, 36, need to file for a license in the U.S. in order for the marriage to be recognized in the States when they return. Kardashian opened up about the couple’s much-anticipated nuptials to Ryan Seacrest in March. “We’re having a super, super small, intimate wedding,” she said at the time. “As we go along, we’re realizing we want it to be smaller and more intimate than people are imagining and thinking.” “There’s certain things where I’m like, ‘I know you’re going to hate the seating chart, so I’ll take care of this,’” she added of West’s involvement. “And then there’s some things that are really important to him. [But the] seating chart is like death.”

The twice married Kardashian will officially become West’s wife sometime this week during a very small and private ceremony with a justice of the peace. The couple will be getting hitched three times total, because French law requires there be two wedding ceremonies in their country. A religious ceremony has to be performed after a civil ceremony, never before,” the French Embassy in Washington D.C. explained to Radar. “The minister, priest or rabbi will require a certificate of civil marriage before any religious ceremony takes place.” The high-profile couple recently scouted a new location for their main event — the 17th-century, Louis XIV-commissioned Chateau de Louveciennes. “Kim will have at least three dress changes on the big ceremony day in France,” a source told Radar. “It will be over the top. Kim and Kanye want it to be the wedding of the century.” After their Southern California nuptials, it’s likely the newlyweds will immediately hop on a private jet for Paris to prepare for their over-the-top wedding.
