Thandie Newton Takes A Stand Against Skin Bleaching Creams On Her Instagram
We recently reported about the extreme popularity of skin lighteners and bleaching creams, particularly in Africa — well actress Thandie Newton, who is half Zimbabwean recently posted about the topic on her Instagram.
Thandie deplored the fact that these creams can be found in pharmacies all over Portobello Rd. in London.
What we love about Thandie’s Instagram is that it’s full of beautiful images of women of all colors, but particularly strong black women, like this one which preceded the bleach post and provided a pretty stark contrast.
