For those of you who were unaware, Rosario Dawson just recently split with director of her latest movie “Trance” and she is now speaking on the break up with NET-A-PORTER magazine:
Not so surprising, then, that the film led to a real-life romance between actress and director, a relationship which, reportedly, ended recently. “It’s not like we announced our relationship, so it’s not like we’re going to announce our breakup,” says Dawson after some gentle prompting. “I met Danny years ago on a project neither of us ended up doing. I don’t always remember meetings, they kind of sometimes disappear. This one I really remembered. The questions he asked, how he guided it, the way he directed me was just so compelling.
“I love Danny,” she continues. “He’s wonderful and we dated longer than people think we did. When the first photograph of us came out, everyone was like, ‘That’s when they started dating’. It’s amazing the things people suppose or make up as fact. I respect Danny’s privacy, so it’s not something we really talk about.”
