Prison Guard To Be Sentenced For Having Sex With Cop Killer

Her life already in ruins, the ex-prison guard impregnated by cop killer Ronell Wilson will be sentenced Monday for the jailhouse romp they plotted as a last-ditch effort to save Wilson’s life.
Nancy Gonzalez, 30, has lost her federal job at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, lost custody of the baby boy after driving drunk with him in the car, and now faces a penalty of 10 to 16 months in prison.
Gonzalez and Wilson got it on while the cop killer was awaiting resentencing after an appeals court threw out his first death sentence, handed down in 2007, on a legal technicality.
But the twisted plan hatched by Wilson, 33, and Gonzalez to save his life by making him a father — “to show he’s not a monster,” she reasoned — also failed to sway a Brooklyn federal jury. Wilson was sent to Death Row for a second time in September for gunning down undercover NYPD Detectives Rodney Andrews and James Nemorin.
“Not for a moment do I regret any of what happened,” she told Wilson in a recorded phone conversation last July, according to government court papers.
Defense lawyer Anthony Ricco has asked Brooklyn Federal Judge Brian Cogan to sentence Gonzalez to probation so she can receive mental treatment.
Ricco said Gonzalez was sexually abused as a child and when she served in the military, leading her to engage in destructive sexual relationships “to cope with stress and anxiety.”
