Who do you believe? It seems like there really must be something to this report of Will getting frisky with his blonde co-star because different versions of what happened in that photo booth are flying left and right. Thursday a source told People.com the pair was just being silly:
There’s no denying that Will Smith and his Focus costar Margot Robbie put their inhibitions aside inside a photo booth recently. Yet an insider insists the images simply show two friends goofing off – and nothing more.
“The photo booth was on set,” the source tells PEOPLE. “The whole cast and crew were there and everyone was sharing all the photos being taken. They are just friends and were just being silly.”
The black and white photos – which show Smith, 45, and a costumed Robbie, 23, exposing their chests – were published in a tabloid this week as a sign the actor could be cheating on wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
“Will and Jada’s marriage is fine,” says the source. “Everyone there knows it was nothing.”
The insider adds that the photo booth was brought on set during a day of shooting to celebrate cast and crew before moving locations. “This was done in front of many people goofing around,” the source says. “They are just friends. This was a very fun and friendly set overall.”
While we don’t doubt that Will and Jada may have some kind of agreement, we’re not sure we’re buying the whole “innocent friends goofing off” bit, especially because another source is telling RadarOnline that AFTER the photo debacle Will physically carried his co-star to his trailer after taking the naughty pics!
On the heels of the startling photos showing married father Will Smith getting cozy with his sexy costar Margot Robbie on the New Orleans set of their film, Focus, numerous “anonymous” sources have come out attempting to debunk the story.
But RadarOnline.com has learned those protests of innocence don’t hold water.
As Star magazine reports in its current issue, an eyewitness saw Will, 45, and Margot, 23, enter a photo booth on the set of film where they proceeded to touch each other and partially disrobe while taking photos together. Star published the candid photos, which sparked a media frenzy over the state of Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith‘s already shaky marriage.
Some media outlets have reported that the shots are actually part of the movie, but RadarOnline.com has learned that claim is flat out wrong. The photo booth was provided as on-set entertainment for the cast and crew.
Also false are the claims that there were many other people around who were also taking pictures at the time of Will and Margot’s secretive encounter.
“There was no one else in the cast or crew in the general area during that time,” an eyewitness told Radar, noting that the couple was “hanging all over each other.”
Perhaps the most incredulous reports suggested that Will and Margot were simply “friends acting silly.”
“It is just ludicrous for Will or Margot to try to play it off like it wasn’t a big deal,” the spy-witness added.
“It’s highly inappropriate for a married man in his mid-forties to strip down with a young woman who is half his age. Will and Margot’s actions were very inappropriate and any wife would be livid to see such intimate photos, including Jada.”
The source also noted that after their photo booth session, Margo jumped on Will’s back and they walked off towards his private trailer and did not show up at the cast party that night.
“They didn’t seem to care if anyone saw them do this. Then they took off, giggling, with her riding on his back and being carried, holding him tight with her head resting on his neck and back as they headed toward his trailer,” the source said.
“Will and Margot never showed up back on set or attended the night’s festivities with the rest of the crew. After they left the party, they were done all night.”
Margot has remained suspiciously quiet on her social media sites since news of the photo booth scandal broke.
Coincidentally, Jada attended the Make Equality Reality gala earlier this week in Beverly Hills – sans her wedding ring.
Somebody lyin’! Who do you think has more reason to make stuff up?
