justdoitBRISK Drops “Flashin”
justdoitBRISK’s music video for his new single, “Flashin” is all about his unconventional life in the music biz.
In it, the Florida artist raps about his lady having to accept that he’s not a regular guy.
“I’m not a regular guy,” Brisk, 26 told BOSSIP. “So when you’re with me, cameras are flashing and all types of things are going on.”
The song is the first single off of his EP, “New Persona” which drops later this summer.
And for Brisk the rap lifestyle runs in the family. The rapper is the son of producer Jay Ski of Bass Mechanics, who helped produced 90s hits like 95 South “Whoot There it Is,” 69 Boyz’ “Kitty Kitty” and songs for the Quad City DJs.
“My dad was a big pioneer down in the south with the bass music back in the 90s, so I’ve always been around music,” Brisk said. “Music is in my blood.”
The songwriter and producer said although he looks to his dad for inspiration, their music sounds nothing alike.
“Even though the sounds are different, he taught me a lot of the principles of music.
