Carrie Fisher Found With Cocktail Of Several Drugs In Her System After Autopsy
Star Wars icon Carrie Fisher passed away suddenly last year just days after suffering a major heart attack aboard a commercial flight. Almost immediately rumors about what caused her began to swirl.
It was known that Carrie was suffering with bipolar disorder and was taking prozac, what wasn’t known is that she was taking a lot more than that…
According to LATimes, Fisher’s autopsy revealed that she had a deadly cocktail of drugs in her system when she passed away:
Fisher’s toxicology review found evidence of cocaine, methadone, MDMA (better known as ecstasy), alcohol and opiates when she was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Hospital on Dec. 23, a toxicology report showed.
The test results “suggests there was an exposure to heroin, but that the dose and time of exposure cannot be pinpointed.” Therefore we cannot establish the significance of heroin regarding the cause of death in this case.”
Carrie Fisher’s cause of death has been officially listed as sleep apnea in conjunction with other factors.
Sounds like all the drug use might have seriously exacerbated Carrie’s condition.
