Athlete Scores Windfall In Manse Sale
NFL star Adrian Peterson has finally sold off his Texas mansion for $6.7 million – leaving him with a $1.6 million profit on the sale.
In 2013, the NFL star purchased the 10,582 square foot six-bedroom, 13-bathroom home in The Woodlands, Texas for $5,050,000.
The home features “five fireplaces, two outdoor kitchens, a two-story library, walk-in wine cellar, maid/nanny quarters with a separate entrance, a master bath sauna and separate shoe closet, an upstairs and downstairs laundry room, a full bar with a game room and media room, balcony to overlook the pool/spa on beautiful grounds.”
Last year, Peterson put the property on the market for $8,500,000, which would have left him with a nice $3.4 million profit.
The home sat on the market for months with no bites, which caused Peterson to slash the price to $6.7 million.
Earlier this month, the property finally sold off after sitting on the market for close to a year at the $6 million price.
