Sheriff David Clarke Will Accept Job With Homeland Security
The guy we love to hate, tap-dancin’ Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke is set to become a federal employee.
According to USAToday, Clarke has accepted a new job as assistant secretary in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. His job is described as a liaison of state in the Office of Partnership and Engagement.
Clarke said one of his responsibilities would be to “take complaints of shortcomings in the Department of Homeland Security.”
“They feel like they’re being ignored,” Clarke said of his counterparts in local law enforcement.
We’re not sure what any of that REALLY means, but one thing’s for sure, if David Clarke has accepted the job that means that he’s going to be doing his best to undermine Black folks and blame us for any and all suffering. Now he’ll just be doing it from a federal level.
Yay.
