Travis Scott Is Sued For $2 Million Over Contract Breach
Music executive Lyor Cohen says rapper Travis Scott owes his 15% of everything he’s earned over the last three years, and he’s determined to get it. Cohen’s LCAR Management company is suing Scott for breach of contract.
According to TMZ, the rapper signed a 3-year contract in 2014 with Lyor, who is guaranteed 15% of all of his entertainment revenue. They report an estimated $2 million is owed to the company. According to the suit, the 25-year-old has only paid about $37,000 to his former management team.
Money troubles aside, Travis seemed worry-less, when spotted court side with Kylie Jenner recently. That’s probably because Travis has a good excuse as to why he hasn’t paid.
TMZ sources say that’s because Travis was NOT happy with the way Lyor and his company were brokering his deals so he dropped them.
“We’re told Travis felt he was managing his own career as Cohen and company weren’t lifting a finger for him … so he left for a better management company.”
