Halle Berry’s terrible track record with men has been a hot topic ever since the end of October, when Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez announced they were divorcing after just two years of marriage.
Now the media is trying to piece together just where they went wrong — and what’s really off with Halle that this keeps happening.
According to Page Six reports:
“It is with a heavy heart that we have come to [this] decision,” Berry and Martiznez said in a joint statement. “We move forward with love and respect for one another.”
But if Berry’s past — and the aggressive divorce lawyers each has hired — is any indication, the parting will be anything but amicable. Martinez is her third husband and second baby-daddy and just the latest in a string of bitter breakups and ugly legal battles for the Oscar-winning actress.
The common denominator of all the drama is, of course, Berry herself — leaving many wondering why the beauty has such a beastly record with relationships.
“She has always looked for ‘alpha males,’ but after this divorce, she’s going to need a long period of self-reflection before she hooks up with anyone else,” a Berry friend tells The Post.
We agree that Halle definitely needs to take a big timeout to figure out what is really going wrong in these relationships. But what’s interesting is the guys who came before Olivier Martinez are actually rallying to his defense, tweeting about Halle’s hostile endings with them. And according to sources close to Berry, Halle is HEATED that about the trash talk.
“Halle was pissed that these guys, who she hadn’t spoken to in years, took advantage of her divorce announcement,” a Berry friend tells The Post. “She thought it was totally rude and ungallant.”
