Taye Diggs Writes New Book Called Mixed Me
Actor Taye Diggs and co-author Shane Evans penned a book entitled, ‘Chocolate Me’ 3 years ago about a boy teased for his dark skin. Well, the twosome have teamed up to bring ‘MIXED ME’ about a young biracial child and her multicultural family.

Excited to announce the 2nd book by Taye Diggs and myself called “MIXED ME!”. We had a sit down with our publisher in NYC and we are all gearing up for the newest project. We are at the sketching and preparing stages which to me is one of the most fun and focused times of the project.
We are all putting in ideas and listening to all of the thoughts of parents and children who have had experiences in multicultural families (like myself) and those ideas will find a way into this project I am sure. As an illustrator it is always a great work to watch a character COME ALIVE on a page and for Taye & I this is a great way to showcase his writing as way to inspire our children!
